On Christmas eve we went on a 9 mile hike up some slot canyons in Goblin Valley. We had a wonderful time. It was a little chilly (32-35 degrees) Daisy loved it, although she had to be helped in a few spots. This was the one picture I took, Greg has the majority of the photos on his camera..JPG)
After we got home form the Gardners (greg's parents) we slouched around our house for a while. I came into the living room to see this... .JPG)
I would also like to add that Daisy is in my spot, not to mention that she shouldn't even be on the couch. Really though how cute is that?

I can't believe how much redder Gregs hair looks when he has a beard! Come on that dog is always on the couch. That's like me saying my kids only drink their sippy cups at the table. NOT! (At one point that was a rule too)
Isn't that where that guy got stuck in a rock and had to cut his arm off with a swiss army knife to get out? We watched a TV show with him on it. It was crazy.
I believe your talking about Aaron Ralston? (I might have spelled that wrong) He did get stuck in a slot canyon but I'm not sure where. I decided that if something happened we could send Daisy out for help like lassie... or cut our arms off as well. It was really cool!
Who put the blanket around Daisy by the way. I want to go up that cayon next time I get home. But I don't want my arm cut off it would take too long to heal. Looks like you guys had a neat Christmas anyway.

looks like a great break from everything. Our new years was a cool -2 c, i would have been loving a 32 day.

At the risk of my Man Card being pulled, I'll say yes, cute.
yeah it was Aaron Ralston I even read "exerpts" from his book. He actally got his arm stuck when a boulder fell down a slot. He was stuck there for 4 days with only a power bar to eat. Then he figured that no one was coming so he thought I can get out or I can die either way it's going to happen today or tomorrow. He had to tork his arm to break the bone then cut through the now rotting flesh. Then the crazy a** hiked out! He found some Asian tourists and they gave him some oreo's and water to eat and called 911. I have always wondered who went back to look for his arm? Is it still there? Can you hike out to see it? Maybe that should be our next trip. Let's all go see Aaron Ralstons arm.
Is it just me or does everything you guys do for fun involve excercise? Tim and I eat bacon and watch movies for fun....:)
